Here’s what our local Paris expert, Rachel, wants you to know about the top 5 attractions in Paris, France. 🇫🇷 📸Eiffel Tower – This classic attraction is a must, especially if you’re a first-timer in Paris. Visit on a spring morning for the best weather and the fewest number of people. ⛪Notre Dame – This cathedral is famous for a reason – it’s a Gothic masterpiece. You can see tons of other nearby attractions from here since it's smack-dab in the center of the city. 🖼️Louvre Museum – The Louvre can be overwhelming, so book a skip-the-line tour to avoid the headache of the crowds. See the iconic glass pyramid and surrounding gardens if you don’t feel like going inside. 🏛️Arc de Triomphe – Climb to the top of this famous French monument for a lovely view of Paris and a unique experience at an otherwise come-and-go attraction. 🌷Luxembourg Gardens – Enjoy an afternoon of people-watching and outdoor recreation amid 62 acres of aromatic French and English gardens, home to the famous Medici Fountain. While these traditional tourist sites are on most visitors’ must-see lists, there’s so much more to Paris than just these main attractions. ➡️Search “Paris” on Travel Lemming to read Rachel’s article on the 76 best things to do in Paris, and check out her full library of Paris guides while you’re at it. ✨ paris france eiffeltower notredame louvre arcdetriomphe luxembourggardens french parisfrance visitparis paristravel thingstodo

A famous cruise ship turned Halloween haunt 🫣 The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor is a must-do in SoCal this October! Here’s what I loved about the event: 🚢 Scary mazes on a real haunted ship 🤫 Hidden speakeasies that you actually have to work to find – the ones on the ship are SO COOL 🧟♀️Live actors who run around adding to the terror 🎡 Carnival games and rides 🍸 Themed bars and food stalls Find out why Dark Harbor is one of the best Halloween festivals in the nation. Get your tickets through November 2nd on Groupon for a 30+% discount. I got my ticket for $43, originally $60 before tax! 🚘 PARKING TIP: Don’t pay the $40 fee at the shipyard. Park at the Pike Outlets Parking Garage ($3/hour), then take the free shuttle to the Queen Mary located down the street at 500 W Seaside Way. You’re welcome. 💁♀️ Check out @qmdarkharbor for more inspiration. As always, stay spooky! 👻 📍 The Queen Mary, 1126 Queens Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90802 darkharbor queenmary socal halloween spookyseason october thingstodo california longbeach losangeles orangecounty
A few other worthwhile stops to consider 👇 🧥 The Lemon Grove (vintage shop with clothing, shoes & housewares) 🥂 Lady Yum (macarons & champagne) 🐚 Pioneer Square Habitat Beach (relaxing pocket beach) 🍨 Hellenika Cultured Creamery (cultured gelato) 🕯️ Noir Lux Candle Bar (DIY candle making) This walk covers roughly 3 miles and took us about 3.5 hours with all of the stops. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare for some stairs, but there aren’t that many hills on this route (for Seattle anyway…you’re welcome!). Also, take your time and stop at any place along the route that looks fun, even if it’s not included in this itinerary! There are so many other cool businesses we passed by and we had to agree to come back to them another day otherwise this would have taken us a lot longer… seattle #seattletiktok#traveltiktok
